Before you use Speedra
Speedra provides GPS speed estimates for information and entertainment. It is not a legal speed measurement device or a replacement for your vehicle’s speedometer. You remain responsible for driving safely and following traffic laws.
Apple handles payments and subscriptions. Its policies apply to billing and refunds.
1. Accepting these terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) apply to the Speedra app and its services (“Speedra,” “App” or “Service”). References to “we,” “us” and “our” mean Speedra, the application provider.
By installing or using Speedra, you agree to these Terms and confirm that you have the authority to accept them. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
2. What Speedra provides
Speedra offers GPS speed readings, trip recording and statistics, Live Activity and Dynamic Island integration, a head-up display (HUD), and instruments such as a map, compass and G-force meter.
Speed readings are estimates. Their accuracy depends on GPS reception, your surroundings and your device. Do not rely on Speedra as your only measure of speed.
3. Using Speedra responsibly
You may use Speedra to monitor personal speed while driving, cycling or taking part in other activities, and to record trips and review statistics for informational or entertainment purposes.
You must not:
- Use the App in a way that distracts you from driving safely.
- Rely solely on Speedra to comply with speed limits, or use its readings as evidence in legal disputes about speed.
- Use the App to evade speed detection or enforcement.
- Modify, reverse engineer or decompile the App, except where the law permits it.
- Share account credentials with others.
You are responsible for operating your vehicle safely and following all traffic laws and speed limits. Use your vehicle’s speedometer for legal speed compliance. Set up Speedra before you start and do not interact with it while driving.
4. Accuracy, warranties and liability
GPS limitations
GPS readings can be delayed or inaccurate. Signal strength, tunnels, buildings, weather and device capabilities can affect them. Speedra’s readings may differ from your vehicle’s speedometer and must not be used for legal or official measurements.
No warranties
The Service is provided “as is,” without express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee accurate speed readings, uninterrupted or error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limits on liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for accidents, injuries, damages, traffic violations or other legal consequences arising from use of the App. We are not responsible for GPS inaccuracies or signal loss.
Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service during the six months before the claim.
5. Ownership and feedback
The software, design, branding and other elements of Speedra remain our exclusive property. Using the App does not transfer ownership or intellectual property rights to you.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use it without restriction.
6. Your data
Speedra processes location data on your device to calculate speed. We do not track or store your location on our servers. Trip data is stored locally on your device.
Our Privacy Policy explains data collection and processing in more detail.
7. Payments and subscriptions
The free version includes basic speedometer functionality and limited access to other features.
Speedra Pro purchases are billed through the App Store and are subject to Apple’s payment terms and refund policies. Pro subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Price changes follow Apple’s notice process.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Settings > your name > Subscriptions on your Apple device. Deleting Speedra does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds for partial subscription periods are subject to Apple’s policies. You can restore subscriptions using the App Store restore process with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
8. App Store license
These Terms are Speedra’s custom end-user license agreement (EULA) for distribution through the Apple App Store. Your license is granted by Speedra as the application provider. You must also follow Apple’s App Store terms.
The license is nontransferable and allows you to use Speedra on Apple devices you own or control. Copying, modification and reverse engineering are prohibited except where legally permitted.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for Speedra.
9. Ending your use or access
You may stop using Speedra at any time. Cancel any subscription separately through your Apple ID settings.
We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms, if the law requires it, or if we discontinue the Service.
10. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Where permitted by law, disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, except for intellectual property disputes or requests for emergency injunctive relief.

12. Your agreement
By using Speedra, you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms. You understand that speed readings are estimates, that Speedra is for information rather than legal speed verification, and that you are responsible for safe driving and compliance with traffic laws.
